Bill Clinton at the 2012 DNC

Bill Clinton's nominating speech at the 2012 DNC was fantastic. It was a real reminder that it is possible to explain and defend public policy fully and truthfully and yet still fire up a crowd. This full speech is worth a watch:

Bloomberg has a "fact-check" of Clinton's speech that reads true, true, true. You don't need to lie if the truth is on your side -- and that strong candidates don't need lies to sell them.

And here is Hillary watching the speech from East Timor.

Love the scrunchie. Rockstars, both of them.
